Catch us before summer!
Hey all, it’s hard to believe it’s already June.
Jenni’s about to go on maternity leave, and I’m about to clock out for a month as I try to walk across as much of Washington state as possible.
We’ll be putting events and such on pause in July and August, and will be back in full swing in September.
We hope you can join us in a few offerings this month!
I will be holding office hours on June 15, noon PT. This is great if you don’t want a full coaching session but want some face-time to discuss a freelance quandary. Sign up at the Office Hours tier today: patreon.com/twcpod.
Our June event, scheduled for 6/21 (solstice!) at noon PT, is about building your own freelance team with subcontractors, assistants, and more. When I think about freelancing in a sustainable way, contracting out work is a big part of it — both for TWC, and for my own writing business. I’m excited to dig into how I do this ethically for journalism, and our guest, Afoma Umesi, will discuss how she thinks about subcontracting for content. Tickets and registration here.
