Get After It 010: A value-based pricing redux

The focus of this newsletter has been mostly on navigating your freelance business and finding work, but today I want to pivot slightly to a topic us freelancers all know and love: pricing.
Two and a half years ago, we published an episode called Value: A New Pricing Consideration For Freelancers.
I know it gave a new paradigm for freelancers to think about what they bring to clients, but I worry that it is a bit theoretical. In so many freelance groups I’m a part of, my colleagues often recognize that they’re asked to price a valuable project, but don’t feel like they have a rulebook in feeling confident in the number that they come up with.
So let’s get more practical about this today! What I’m about to share is something I taught in my pricing masterclass last year.
