Spring vibes only
Update your business webpage with me this month + what the new resource store upgrade is all about
Spring is in full swing — my seasonal allergies have been horrible for the last few weeks!
Nevertheless, this is one of my favorite seasons. (Thank god for all the allergy meds that are available.) I’ve been purging my clothes, hosting clothing swaps, and cleaning and organizing my office . And, I’m finally coming around to organizing my business webpages — both my own, and the one for The Writers’ Co-op!
I finally asked clients for testimonials (something that I’ve put off doing for a long, long time), and I’ve re-organized the resource store for TWC after many people gave me feedback that it’s a bear to navigate!
So, this month, I invite you to give your business webpage a layer of fresh paint with me.
If you’ve been putting off building or updating your business website, and you want some guidance, accountability, and tips on best practices, join me at The Fresh Paint Clinic, starting April 10! We will meet each week, from 12-1pm PST. https://www.eventbrite.com/e/the-fresh-paint-clinic-tickets-846049696417
The result? A business webpage that confidently conveys your expertise, attracts the right clients, and gets the right people to find you easily.
Limited spots are available, so sign up today!

I know I’ve alluded to the TWC resource store update a few times, so let me tell you more about it!
What’s stayed
The most popular resources (a template for a freelance contract; your freelance business plan) are still available for individual download
All of our previously recorded webinars are also still available à la carte
The learning materials organized by season still remains
What’s changed
The à la carte downloads for worksheets and tipsheets are gone — and instead have been bundled into six core libraries of resources:
Business Brasstacks: If you’re just getting started with running your freelance business and need to think about structure, pricing, paperwork, and more, you’ll find everything you need here.
Find More Work: Use this library if you’re looking to diversify in your freelance business or to get more work from existing clients
Managing Mindset Barriers & Mental Health for Freelancers: A big part of running a sustainable freelance business is to make it mentally sustainable. This library contains resources to help boost confidence, tamp down imposter syndrome, assess your capacity for work, and beyond.
Journalism Is A Business, Too: We often think about journalism as “passion work,” but that’s still work. This library contains resources to help you best run the journalism arm of your business.
Improving Your Freelance Workflow: Who doesn’t want to run a more efficient freelance business?
Build Your Own Lifeboat: If you’re thinking of ways to make your business more self-sustaining, be sure to check out this resource. We cover creating your own newsletter, generating passive revenue, hiring for an assistant and building out your team, and more.
As always, TWC Patreons get 30% store resources; become a sustaining member today to support the show and for so many other perks: www.patreon.com/twcpod
